Mobility products are part of everyday life.
They need to be comfortable, safe and easy to use, while fitting naturally into the routines of the people who depend on them.
A pushchair should fold without a struggle, ride smoothly and make both parent and child feel comfortable and safe. A rollator should provide support without getting in the way. A personal transporter should simply make getting from A to B faster and easier.

Products that move have momentum and are exposed to forces and loads that static products are not. As speed increases, so do the demands on stability, control and safety.
Their position in traffic also matters: they may share space with pedestrians, cyclists or other vehicles and must remain predictable and easy to control.

Many of the mobility products we design also need to fold compactly. Hinges, joints and locking mechanisms make them easier to store, carry and transport, but they must never compromise strength, stability or safety when the product is in use.
Good mobility design starts with understanding how a product will actually be used: on pavements and cobblestones, in narrow hallways, on public transport and in the boot of a car.
It also needs to work in the showroom, because function alone is not enough. The product has to look good, feel right and be easy to understand.
For more than 25 years, we have designed products with wheels for established European brands, startups and Chinese manufacturers.
This includes pushchairs, buggies, bicycle seats, rollators, kiddy boards, wheelchairs and walking aids for children with disabilities.
That experience helps us recognise what matters, anticipate practical issues and make clear design decisions from the start.
We understand the relationship between ergonomics, safety, materials, construction, durability, production and cost.
We know international standards such as EN 1888, but we also know that compliance is only the starting point.
